The stunning views of the Nile and Elephantine Island from various spots in the hotel make for an unforgettable backdrop. The attentive staff ensured a pleasant dining experience, especially at the exquisite 1902 restaurant.
Service inconsistencies detracted from a truly five-star experience. requests were sometimes met with confusion and delays which felt puzzling for a luxury establishment.

My room was a spacious Palace Luxury Room with a balcony that perfectly framed the river and surrounding landscapes. I loved enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony, soaking in the serene atmosphere. The hotel's architecture captures the elegance of the British colonial era, making you feel like you're stepping back in time. The pool area was a great place to unwind, with attentive service ensuring I had everything I needed. I did notice some inconsistencies with service during my stay. While the reception and cleaning staff were exceptional, I faced some frustrations at breakfast. On my last day, I was asked to change tables, which felt unnecessary considering the circumstances. A five-star hotel should ensure that guests feel comfortable at all times. Additionally, the security staff approached me in a not-so-friendly way, questioning my presence. These experiences detracted slightly from my stay, but overall, the comfort and beauty of the hotel made it a memorable visit.
